Now Hiring: AZ Drivers – Mississauga, ON

United Group of Companies is seeking experienced AZ Drivers for local and highway deliveries to Metro stores. This is a dock-to-dock position with no tailgating and flexible shifts available.

Job Details:

📍 Location: 1191 Eglinton Avenue East, Mississauga, ON
💰 Earnings:

• Average Biweekly Pay: $2,500+ (based on hours worked)
• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
  🕒 Shifts Available:
• Thursday to Monday
• Sunday to Friday
• Morning, Afternoon, and Night Slots

🚛 Job Type: Full-Time (7 days of available work)
✔ Dock-to-Dock Deliveries – No Tailgating
✔ Local & Highway Runs

Responsibilities:

✔ Operate Company Equipment – Safely drive tractor-trailers and pump trucks
✔ Conduct Safety & Mechanical Inspections – Ensure vehicle compliance before and after trips
✔ Report Issues Promptly – Report defects, safety concerns, maintenance needs, and incidents
✔ Compliance & Documentation – Maintain accurate logbooks and adhere to provincial regulations
✔ Verify Shipments & Delivery Instructions – Ensure all manifests are complete and accurate
✔ Hand-Bombing (As Needed) – Assist in loading/unloading when required

Qualifications:

✅ Minimum 2 years of verified AZ driving experience (flatbed or dry van preferred)
✅ Valid AZ License with a clean CVOR & abstract
✅ Ability to pass a road test & Carrier Edge online training
✅ Strong English communication skills
✅ Valid work authorization in Canada
✅ No criminal record
✅ Positive attitude & strong work ethic
