AJAX DZ LOBLAWS DRIVER

Job Title: DZ Driver (Full-time, Permanent)

Pay: $20 per hour (no bonus)

Responsibilities of a DZ Driver:

• Perform tailgate pick-ups and deliveries to customers.
• Operate company equipment, including tractor-trailers, pump trucks, etc.
• Conduct safety and mechanical inspections of vehicles.
• Report any defects, safety concerns, maintenance needs, accidents, or violations immediately.
• Document and log work/rest periods in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
• Comply with provincial laws/regulations and company procedures.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions and shipment manifests.
• Perform hand bombing as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of DZ driving experience required. ( In Canada)
  • Newly licensed AZ drivers with at least 1 year of experience ( In Canada) are also eligible to apply for the DZ position.
• License:
  • Must possess a valid AZ Driver’s License (1 Year of Experience), or
  • A valid DZ License (with at least 2 years of experience).
  • Maintain a clean driving record (CVOR and abstract required).
• Skills:
  • Ability to pass a road test, physical abilities test, and background check.
  • Positive and energetic work ethic with good communication skills (highly preferred).
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Language: Must speak English.

Shift: Morning shift available.
