Now Hiring: Shunters (2-Month Contract)
Location: 325 Humber College Blvd, Etobicoke
Pay: $26.00 per hour

We are looking for experienced shunters to join our team for a 2-month contract! This is a great opportunity for individuals with 2 years of verifiable AZ driving or shunting experience to work with a dynamic company, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time driver position after the contract.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 1: 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
• Shift 2: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

Why Work With Us?
After completing the contract, you can join us as a full-time driver! We offer a base rate of $21.50/hour from our Mississauga terminal, with attractive bonuses for afternoon and night shifts. Our clients include Loblaws, Canada Post, and Metro, and we have work available 7 days a week with morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tailgate pick-ups and deliveries
• Operate company equipment (tractor-trailers, pump trucks, etc.)
• Conduct safety and mechanical inspections
• Report defects, safety issues, accidents, or violations promptly
• Log work/rest periods according to regulations and company policy
• Comply with all Provincial laws and company procedures
• Collect and verify delivery instructions and shipment manifests
• Hand bombing when required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving or shunting experience
• Valid AZ License with a clean driving record (CVOR and abstract required)
• Ability to pass a road test, physical abilities test, and background check
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
